DOGS AREN’T BARKING

Week 8 has come and gone, and we all survive. The only minor scare was when the Washington Commanders went up 14-3 and had a chance to go up 21-3 at the half before imploding against the Philadelphia Eagles. Somehow Washington always plays Philly tough, even taking them to OT in their first meeting this season. I’ll have to keep that in mind for next year.

The only other two games of note were Baltimore who had the lead the entire game, and was never in danger of losing.

In the Monday night game Sully had the Lions, who could have won by 30 or so if they didn’t turn the ball over 3 times. I’m not sure they ever punted and the Raiders looked about as bad as any team can look. Al Davis is rolling in his grave.

Week 9 brings us some interesting match ups, and we’re getting to that point in the season where most of the big teams are unavailable to us. Things should get pretty interesting down the stretch.

Good luck.
